So, it seems that I'm going to Paris for Bruno Latour's much anticipated diplomatic 'summit' at the end of July—the conclusion of his AIME project.
A whole week of bilingual philosophical discussion. Yikes. I need to brush up on my French—and by 'brush up' I mean transform it entirely! I've been taking lessons but at a fairly low level. If I can get there, survive for a week and get home that'll be a victory.
I don't anticipate being able to follow all of the discussion but it'll certainly be an experience!
